Be a Reasoning Robin. Also this term we will be planning and writing impressive persuasive speeches in order to convince an audience to take much needed action in order to combat an issue. We will work towards solving challenging multi-step problems, involving fractions, decimals and percentages; choose and use appropriate calculation strategies at each stage. The children will be learning to recognise risks in different situations and then deciding how to behave responsibly by thinking of the choices available to them. What else can we do? Pupils use ideas from discussions they cvop had in class, but also from discussions they have had at home. They are tested every week. Homework Homework is given out every Thursday and expected in your class homswork on Tuesday. Students are not allowed to talk to each other and the teacher takes this time to conference with students one to one and look at their individual writing goals.
This is conducted on a Friday. Eventually homewok will present these speeches to the year group. Global Citizenship This term we will discuss the choices that we make and the consequences of these choices.

This term we will discuss the choices that we make and the consequences of these choices. Our learning will be based upon forces in action as we investigate how gravity, air resistance, viscosity and friction affect the movement of various objects within challenging, yet fun science activities.
